IRATE
Our file is still messed up and supposedly has been escalated to the office manager. I called today and the office manager is OFF for the day. What kind of craziness is this? I am irate. The rate has gone from 4.3% to 4.875% since this has happened. Nobody can answer any of my questions. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm wondering if we would be better off going to the bank and getting a less expensive house. This stress is getting old and I'm wondering if it is worth it.

Feeling let down
I called today to check on our status and of course, they are not working today. Someone named Dorothy answered the phone (the same lady that was supposed to help me while Monica was away on vacation last week and never responded to any of my emails) and told me that she could not help me either. My goodness, all I need to know is whether a glitch can be fixed or not. Is that so difficult? Obviously it is because she refused to help me. It would have taken less than 3 mintues to look at the computer screen. So, here we are 6 days away from our lease being over and we have no plan of action. It has been SIX (6) weeks since we signed the contract with Eastwood on the house and yet, we have made little progress. I'm sure they can understand why I am feeling let down and dissapointed in their "service".

This stinks.......
Well, I'm late posting.....but, we went to do our bank application on May 7, 2009. Everything was fine, but there was a glitch in the system that showed us approved for less than what we really were approved for. They also could not get credit access to answer that night. For 2 weeks now, the glitch has remained. What gives people, what gives? Seriously. This is OLD. Our lease is up in 9 days. Things aren't looking to great......

Whooooppppeeeee!!!!!!!
Monica emailed today and said that we are APPROVED! Underwriting has approved us and we are going tomorrow to do a bank application!! Oh, how I appreciate Monica so very much. She has been amazing.

Finally...A Good Counselor!
Thank you, Monica Hayes from the Charlotte, NC office! We are on our 3rd counselor and perhaps, it's3rd times a charm! Monica has returned our phone calls and emails. I have received more emails from Monica in 4 days than I have received from the other counselors in 6 months. However, she is finding things in our file that are incomplete. Items that we gave other counselors that never made it into our file. We're so close, yet so far away. She found another debt report on our credit file today that will need to be paid and explained before it can go to underwriting.....great....another $301. Oh well, it's our debt that we owe and I am thankful that we have the ability to pay it off right now.
